Lo:La is pop rock!
Lo:La is a pop rock band formed by María Dolores Rascon (singer) and Ramon Solé (guitar and singer) making songs about things that happen, good and bad, songs that help them pass the bad times and enjoy even more the good; guitarist songs, powerful, danceable, uncomplicated, funny, exciting, moments to dance, to sing, to vibrate with riffs and rhythms of the old rock school ... energetic moments that this pair, accompanied by their four musicians, want to spread to make us spend good times together.
María Dolores and Ramon have been making music together since 2001, but it was not until 2006 that Lo:La took the current shape and name. That year, singer and dj Miqui Puig produced the first album, "Hola ¿qué tal?", a collection of pop songs more polished in accordance with the spirit of the band at that time. Now, after four years, Lo:La returns in 2011 with a much more "thug" and hedonistic sound, with a relentless rock show, with messages laden with irony and optimism, and with two objectives: to enjoy themselves on stage and make the audience have a good time. The title of their new EP, to be published this spring by petit indie, says it all: "This will be a success."
Ramon Solé also works as a composer and arranger in other musical projects such as Escaldàrium of Caldes de Montbui. Since September 2008,
he's published, online, his first literary work, the novel multimedia "Pornography: a history of rock'n'roll", in which he is the author of the texts, music and illustrations.
